Sub Floor: Typically plywood or oriented strain board (OSB) under the floor covering.
Swing: A door opening into the building is an in-swing. A door opening to the outside of a building is an out-swing.  See Handing above for defining right or left swing.
Transom: Window directly over a door. Typically the shape is square, elliptical or a half round.
